The Moringa Tree is an evergreen tree native to the sub-Himalayan regions of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. It is also known as the "Miracle Tree" for its nutritional and medicinal properties. The tree is drought-resistant, fast-growing and can reach up to 12 meters in height. Its leaves, pods, flowers and seeds are edible and can be consumed raw or cooked. The leaves are rich in vitamins A and C, calcium, potassium and protein, making them a nutritional powerhouse. Moringa is also used in traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. The tree has been used for centuries to treat a variety of illnesses and ailments, including diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, anemia and skin conditions.

 

What is included: 

Each sapling will be geolocated and can be photographed with a bespoke message in view of the sapling when planted. It could take a few weeks to several months before the tree is ready to be planted but gifters and giftees will be kept up to date on the progress.
